Darjeeling

The Himalayan city of Queen of the Hills is located in West Bengal, India. In addition to its breathtaking views of Mt. Kanchendzonga, Darjeeling is a popular tourist destination for its tea industry and the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Darjeeling Himalayan Railway. Mount Kanchanzonga, the Bhutanese Alps, and parts of the Everest range are all visible from Darjeeling. Darjeeling’s distinctive features include its picturesque valleys, winding rivers, and, of course, its verdant tea estates. The Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (HMI), the Himalayan Zoo, Tiger Hill, Rock Garden, and the Batashiya Loop are among the area’s most prominent attractions.
